The Lightship Gedser Rev, No. XVII

Elsinore - Harbour

In the middle of Elsinore Harbour lies a ship that has seen more than most. Nail by nail and plank by plank, it tells the story of 130 years of Danish maritime history.
Lightship No. XVII was built in 1895 and has had an impressive career: from patrol duty in the Lappe Sea to playing a role during the Cold War.
