Holbæk Harbour - The shipyard
It has carried coal, goods and the working lives of generations. Now Barge No. 19 awaits its next cargo.
Barge No. 19 is one of the last of its kind, a wooden barge dating from 1907, built to transport goods around Copenhagen harbour. Today, it lies on dry land at our shipyard in Holbæk, awaiting restoration so that it can once again welcome visitors, school groups and harbour life.
